Glick Family Christmas
I have already written so many posts about this family, yet I can never not have amazing things to say. I must have known the moment they moved in that they were going to be so special to our family, because I remember that day so vividly, and I can't even remember what I ate for dinner last night.
The girls were such fast friends with my boys and I have loved watching their friendships grow and bloom and what them even navigate through the times they upset each other. It's these kinds of friendships that help mold their lives in the future.
I have especially enjoyed watching these girls grow up together and fight and love the only way sisters can. They share a bond so strong, it makes me wish I was able to grow up with a sister while I was a child. I love watching them bicker, and make up. I love seeing the way mom and dad handle it as well. It's always served as a gentle reminder for myself to slow down, let go and let happen.
This little girl, is the most spunky, thoughtful, kind, compassionate and beautiful souls I have photographed. She knows what she wants and she goes for it. She loves unabashedly and unapologetically and always looks for the best in everything. She hardly has time to stop to learn, because she'd rather be exploring and learning by doing. She is going to do amazing things in life.
Oh and this girl. I have so many ways to describe this little firecracker. Stubborn, sweet, firey, introspected, and just so, well, her. She reminds me of a cat. She wanted to be loved and doted on, but only when she wants it and how she wants it. She knows what she wants, and if you stand in her way- you need to watch out. When she finds that you are worthy of her love and affection, she pours it on you like you'd never expect. She is a strong spirit, and her stubborness will take her so far in life.
Last but not least, this little boy. He was waited for so patiently. He already has seen more love in his life than most people get to experience. While his personality is still coming around, I can say he is going to be the peacemaker in the family. I can see him being the one that when the girls are fighting, he does something completely off the wall, that the fighting stops and laughter starts. He is a tester- always testing to see who is watching, and who is paying attention. He loves making people smile and laugh, and I am betting money on him becoming the class clown. I will just add too- momma needs to watch this boy closely cause he is going to be a heartbreaker.
Normally I write a letter out to Mom and Dad here, but there is nothing I can say to them that I haven't already said in person, through other posts, or online. You both inspire me to let go and live a little. Laugh a lot and love more. I am forever thankful to have your family in my life.
Love you all,
